Sectioned Christopher Major Stoke on Trent |

Sectioned (Telford House) I knew they'd put you here, all floral carpets and keys chintz and locks , where chemical chains bind better than straps , and signature loops tie everyone's hands . I knew they'd put you here , with decor so cheerful and walls so bright , they cast from you a staff ' shadow ' who never leaves your side. I knew they'd put you here , I didn't know what to expect . There were no electrodes or cuffs , but with corridors plush and picture lined , when the front door slammed , did the past reach to jar me through an echo just a second wide ?
