Three Poems

Eamer O'Keeffe

Dublin and London

AFTER

we've said hello, long time,

swopped mobile and email

addresses, there's nothing left

CRITICISM

You killed off the assonance,

broke up the rhythm,

crossed out all the rhymes I love,

replacing them with dull words.

You murdered my poem.

POSTAL STRIKE

The letter boxes

are blocked with bright red

leather chastity belts.
