love can be a balloon
lifting you over clouds
holding one moment
popping each instant.

it can be the sea
stealing eyes of the sky

or a coaster that rolls
you wild
on a ride.

love can be new
like a stumb
ling calf

or forever
like words
etched in your poem head.
