Snitching

I hate cats!
curmudgeon grumbles

They’re not friendly
stink up the house
shed all over
ruin the furniture
can’t be trusted

But I catch him
holding Coco in his arms
rubbing her soft tummy
The hated feline
lolls and purrs

Don’t tell anyone
he growls

I’m telling everyone
