GNOSTIC Michael L. Newell Lakeport CA |
In the heat, all was still until the wind swept through town raising a heresy of movement, erratic and undisciplined, random as a believer who belongs to no church. Trees raised their arms in praise, the lake responded (wave upon wave), birds swept lyrically through a late afternoon sky, and children coaxed kites into flight, bold and uncertain, seeking to maintain a majesty of thought given wings, grace, and uncensored freedom while being steered by one mind's daring.
