Improving Literacy through ICT
Full/half day course for Primary/SEN/Secondary
Simple activities, mainly using a word processor, can have the most immediate
effect on childrens reading and writing. This is a practical workshop for
teachers with any level of expertise. Fun with words: developing writing
skills across the curriculum
Full/half day course for Primary or Secondary
No one likes a blank sheet of paper. This workshop will show how some of the
difficulties associated with writing can be overcome by easily applied
techniques and a good deal of fun can be had along the way. Teaching Poetry
Full/half day course for Secondary This session will demonstrate how simple ICT
techniques can be adapted to make pre-1914 texts, including Shakespeare, approachable and ways in which
ICT can add variety to the study and revision of examination texts, especially
poetry.
